NextGen Coaches is a FREE organization founded by Coaching U and FastModel Sports to aid in the development of the next generation of elite basketball coaches.

In 2019 we first welcomed an audience of over 250 eager-to-learn coaches from various levels to a packed conference room at our inaugural event at the 2019 Final Four in Minneapolis to hear five current Division I head coaches speak about their personal journeys to the top of the profession. 

During the pandemic, we moved our NextGen Coaches Forum online to serve thousands of coaches around the world and last year we were fortunate to once again meet in-person at the Final Four in New Orleans.

This year we are thankful to invite coaches from around the country to join us at the 2023 Final Four in Houston FREE OF CHARGE to continue our mission to develop the next generation of elite basketball coaches. 

Topics ranged from recruiting, building a staff and program pillars, to professional development and top books for coaches to read. There is no single path to success or to becoming a head coach, and attendees walked away with advice and tools on building their own careers in coaching.
